You may often find us with our Oyster and Shellfish Knife shucking oysters for on the half shell, on the BBQ or a hearty oyster dressing, with our No. 8 Mushroom Knife foraging in the winter woods of The Sea Ranch, or with our No. 10 Corkscrew Knife in the summer enjoying wine and cheese at the Hollywood Bowl.

We appreciate that by supporting Opinel we are supporting a family business. Since 1890, Opinel has been Made in France in Chambéry in the heart of the Alps and is still run by the Opinel family. Creating an economy for art, design, craft and small business is at the heart of Placewares' values.
