Our Natural Whisk Brush is made from strands of 100% natural cereal root.
While our Natural Whish Brush is handmade in Sweden, we first discovered this style of brush in Japan where they are called Sasara Tawashi brushes and have been used there since ancient times.
Let us take the mystery of how to use your whisk brush. We brought our first ones home from Japan because we thought they were beautiful, yet upon return home, we were not quite sure how to properly use them. To prep a new whisk brush for use, simply place it in boiling water for a few minutes before its first use, and in return, you will get a tough, resilient, long-lasting brush.
We are sure you will find it handy for sweeping away dirt, dust, and crumbs, and scrubbing pots, pans, and kitchen surfaces.
We appreciate its black twine - we find it handsome in the kitchen and it stays good-looking.
Please know that while our whisk brush is strong enough to scrub, it is naturally scratch resistant and is safe to use on non-stick surfaces.
Material: Cereal root; cotton twine.
Size: L 5.3 in x Ø 2 in.
Care: Rinse thoroughly under running water. Air dry. To disinfect, sit in boiling water for several minutes. Please refer to our Iris Hantverk Care Instructions.
