Toyo is a stackable storage box with endless uses. Pressed from a single steel plate and seamless, our stackable steel storage box is durable and functional, lightweight and portable and space saving stackable.
We fell in love with Toyo steel boxes during a trip to Japan. A few made their way back to the U.S. with us in our suitcases and they are now found throughout Placewares' home: on desktops to hold supplies, in the utility room to hold household tools and in dresser drawers to help keep them tidy.
The stackable Toyo is hand-crafted by steel artisans in Japan from initial steel folding to final assembly steps. The maker's unique process of deep drawing on technology involves stamping and folding steel instead of cutting and seaming it, which eliminates sharp edges and creates a more sturdy, lightweight structure.
Your storage uses for our toolboxes is nearly limitless. They are handy to store stationary, watches, or small items. They can also add a nice accent to your interior too.
