Jim Isermann's Patterns & Products @ Placewares

We are excited about our next show, “Jim Isermann @ Placewares: Patterns & Products,” for a few reasons. First, Jim is a friend from way back in 2000 when we moved into the small neighborhood of seven experimental steel houses built by Donald Wexler in the early 1960’s in Palm Springs. Our particular steel-and-glass home had been reduced to - well, just steel and glass. Shev + Kevin

Shev and Kevin first met almost 20 years ago over a Thanksgiving meal in Austin, Texas. Soon after, they discovered that they both had childhood dreams of becoming architects, but were told by guidance counselors that they were too bad at math to ever make that a profession. So, they both ended up with marketing careers. (They also ended up living together in San Francisco.) That pent-up passion for design and architecture didn't remain stifled forever, though.
